We are now pleased to be able to tell members that Nortel's remaining patents (Intellectual Property) have been sold for $4.5Bn to a consortium comprising Microsoft, Apple, Sony, Research in Motion (Blackberry), Ericsson and EMC.  The sale is subject to the approval of both the US and Canadian courts.

This represents a significant increase in assets available to satisfy Nortel's global creditors and the Trustee and its advisers are now considering the implications of this sale in relation to our various claims as described in the FAQ.

As soon as we have additional information that we can share with you all we will make a further announcement.
